Ut Oh, Hit the Reset Button!

Sometimes when you wake up, the day seems rough. The coffee isn't good, you are running late and the traffic on the way to work is terrible! In situations where your day seemingly starts off on the "wrong foot" it is time to reset. Reset your day with the words of you mouth and intentionally in your heart. Make your day what God intended by reacting to every situation in a God-Fearing, loving way.

Now I will say that is not always easy. Sometimes you are hitting the reset button all day long. But, here is what you are doing. You are telling your reaction and your will that you believe the word of God over the physical circumstances. Here's what the bible says in Deut 30:15 - 20:

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

So there is a record of this day. How do you want it recorded? God is admonishing us to choose life. Make the choice for good, to walk in the Love of the Father. This choice is definitely devoid of how you feel about a situation, but on what you know to be true. It is by His Grace that you can hit the Reset button of today and begin brand new! If you have missed it in your thoughts or actions, repent and say out loud "RESET". If your heart and attitude are not in alignment to the bible, say out loud "RESET". Reset your day into the impossibilities of God and know that he has given you the ability to LIVE!
